Android tablet not working, Factory reset using keys

How to do a factory reset an Android tablet when your start up screen is hanging. Some methods show how to reset from the operating system but in this instance you cannot get to the software it just shows the android screen. We will then have to get to the boot screen, not all tablets will give you a menu screen in boot mode, so once it is here simply allow it to reboot itself and your android tablet should now start up with factory default settings, simply reinstall your apps, and I am assuming you have stored your data on a cloud or an sd card

This video is good help. I got my new tablet working. It was an easy fix. I had to perform the operation 4 or 5 times but it eventually worked and I haven't had any problems. Thanks! I have some programming chops and I am never afraid to dig into hardware issues but videos like these help a lot!

thank You so much for this. Ever since the Android 5.0 update my tablet has been acting up.i did have the problem where the clock ran slow, and about once a week it freezes for a few minutes then reboots itself.my older brother said the only way to fix the clock was to factory reset. just this morning my tablet froze up and stayed like that for about 6-7 hours.this fixed it, and the clock, and i still have all my apps! thank you!

In my model you must choose on RECOVERY MENU "WIPE DATA/FACTORY RESET"
