What's inside a modern Android tablet?

In this video i will show you how to hard reset a Chinese Android tablet, step-by-step.

You might want to do a factory reset for your tablet if you cannot unlock it, or the operating system has gone bad.

WARNING: Hard resetting your tablet will delete all data and settings!!!

This procedure works for most Chinese tablets that have a power and a volume button only.

Just follow the 6 easy steps described in the video.

STEPS:

1. Shut down your tablet

2. Press and hold power button and volume up for 5 seconds and then release them. In some tablets you might have to press power button and volume down instead of volume up. Just try it.

3. Wait until the android service menu logo is displayed and then press the power button and the volume button once. Then you will get into the service menu.

4. Navigate using the volume up and down buttons and choose the option "factory reset". Then press the power button to select it.

5. Using the volume buttons select the "yes" option and press the power button.

have had this tablet for nearly 4 yrs....my granddaughter(she was probably 6 yrs. old) was playing with just after I bought it and she changed my password so who knows what it was changed to. I tried following the videos on how to reset it and ended up with a bunch of Chinese symbols/ couldn't even figure out how to shut it down. Came across your video and had to watch it several times cause I didn't have enough fingers to hold & press the buttons & still watch this on my computer. I was following this for my whoop connect tablet and I get the little green robot is laying down with a red triangle and it says no command where should I go from that the device locked me out right after I got it and I know my password that's not the problem what it says I don't but I appreciate all your help with videos so helpful🎉🎉❤

It worked! I tried several other vids, no luck. The difference here was when he said to try volume down + power, if volume up + power did not work. Mine needed volume down + power. Thank you!!!
