I bought this lock with the bridge to use it with wifi and the keypad. after a year of use the wifi connection kept dropping and the wifi connectivity and the pin code generation was completely useless. I contacted August many times and they kept blaming it on my wifi, even though my wifi had not had any changes. They refused to replace the product or resolve the issue since the lock is out of the 1 year warranty period. I read some reviews and realized many others were having the same issue.

what deadbolt are you using because mine doesn't have a turnpiece for the attachment.

Mechanical backup ? if the battery power drains how will you then unlock?
