Unpivot Data in Excel Using Power Query (FASTEST way ever)

In this video, I will show you how to quickly unpivot data in Excel using Power Query.

Since the Pivot table needs a specific data format, in case you get the data in any other format, you need to change it to able to use it in pivot tables.

In this example, I show you a common format that you can easily unpivot in Power Query with a few clicks.

The best part about using Power Query is that it's linked to the original data. So in case your original data expand or change, all you need to do is refresh the resulting data and it will automatically update.

Those pivoted tables are a nightmare to work with when doing serious data manipulation . The best thing about this method is that it can be easily refreshed when any change happens with the source table
