8:42 Did you not see that breaking and entering isn't a hero action? I didn't on my first glance but having extra alter ego thwart with Gambit, Black Widow and Spiderwoman is pretty cool.

I think Royal Flush is a great card assuming maintaining a couple of charges is not too difficult. It gives you a charge so if you have 2 already you can get the full 9 damage.

I think I'll like him, I seem to enjoy the characters that build and spend counters. I'm going to play Aggression get a Honed Technique down and just try to get some crazy attack events going (before I lose to a shadows)

Breaking and Entering is a nice option for Spider Woman. Gambit as a protection aspect looks strong. Make use of that 3 def for events that trigger bonuses off of receiving 0 damage. He becomes a little like Dr. Strange with the versatility. Royal Flush may be balanced for Gambit as a character, but it's a weak card on its own. It's a little expensive for the variable damage and even with the charge acceleration, it's still slow. Meanwhile, James Rhodes flips and just clears the whole board with Scorched Earth.
