As a Canadian, I’m not opposed to greater border security. It helps keep the illegal guns out of Canada that comes in from the states

|'m a Brit and we generally love Canadians - same values, sense of humour etc... We also take our loyalty to Canada pretty seriously - I'm not naturally pro-Monarchy but, at present, we share the same monarch as Head of State and I think anyone trying to step on Canada's toes should remember that the 2.9 BILLION members of the Commonwealth have got Canada's back if they need us!!

The part of Trump’s flat-out lies about Canada that bugs me the most is him saying that Canada is always taking advantage of the US. We’re one-tenth the size! The US takes advantage of us all the time! (Maybe you should do a video on the ongoing softwood lumber trade dispute, Tyler.)

Canada will never stand alone, it is respected, admired and loved throughout the commonwealth, as I said Canada will never stand alone

Americans in general know very little about Canada, and they take us for granted. As a Canadian, I had to learn American history and geography in school. We believe it's part of being a good neighbor. I appreciate your channel and your willingness to make positive change.

I'm a Canadian who's old enough to remember the days after 9/11 when we were bringing stranded Americans into our homes because they needed a place to stay. Too bad Americans can't remember anything before their last TikTok and Big Mac.

I don't think any American would think it was funny if Trudeau said that the US should be a province of Canada and Trump be the Premier of the New Province so every American can have free health care.

You’re exactly right, as a Retired Canadian Solider I think if the US is going to continue on this path we need to think about other options. With so much of our trade is going to the states we are handcuffed by the US political agenda, we need to start looking for other trading partners. (We can’t continue to keep most of our eggs in one basket).

As an American, I'm disgusted at Trumps attack on Canada 🇨🇦. Nothing he has said about Canada is true. Canada has been awesome friends and neighbors to the U.S. They don't deserve this.

American guns are flooding across our Canadian border.

As a Canadian, I definitely think Canada should rethink our dependency on America now that we can no longer trust that the America goverment won't screw us over as a political stunt.

Way back in Pierre Trudeau's day, he said we were too reliant on U.S. trade and needed to diversify. He was right.

The lack of respect for Canada by President-elect Trump is disgraceful. As a Canadian citizen, all I can do is not spend my tourism dollars in the United States (like I used to) and go out of my way not to buy American products sold in Canada. It does not have to be this way, but we politely have to stand up to the administration Americans elected. Sadly, it has come to this...

As a Canadian, I think it is time we understood that America can be our friend and ally, but we need to stand alone in defending our sovereignty which means we need to invest more in our military, in diversifying our trade relationships, and perhaps examining how we can build trade alliances with others, including Francophone countries, and former Commonwealth countries who share our legal and governance models. We need to reduce our reliance on the US so that we don't have to worry about future impacts from political decisions or economic choices made by Americans. It's simple, and long overdue....

Something that is never brought up is USA depends on Canadian wood products to sustain your construction. Without our lumber your housing prices will skyrocket and construction will come to a halt. Tariffs are a lose lose situation for the average citizen.

But remember in Canada women are free, we have Universal Healthcare you don’t and we pay at least 80 per cent less on medication, we also have an education system that do not bankrupt students and our passport is a lot more recognized then yours
