Tailmon was skullknightmon and withthewill confirmed that darknightmon's VA was tailmon's VA mixed with a voice modifier to make it sound deep and evil which is really cool

They confirm in the episode that Gatomon was DarkKnightmon, so instead of rivals they’re two sides of the same coin. That why Gatomon was afraid to evolve, which was a really cool character arc to build up to Angewomon.

Why a lot of people surprised that DarkKnightmon was actually Tailmon? I already saw it by the time episode 31 aired! He reacted to the holy power, the same with Patamon! So you could add one and another... then you got Skull/DarkKnightmon = Tailmon. Done.

Hmm.. This episode was just okay for me. Yes, Tailmon's PTSD was moving but nowhere near the 1999's impact for Angewomon 1st digivolution! A lot of mess happened in this episode, her digivolution scene, her fighting scene.. and over all.. its just scream 6, 5 points out of 10 to me. Why TOEI?? Why not you change the title into Taichi's Adventure instead of Digimon Adventure???

Next episode though!!! Ooops.. you never see the preview, did you? Okay then I let out my speculation and excitement somewhere else then! Can't waiiiit!

Unlikely. Though it is safe for Metalgreymon digivolve to Wargreymon, that does not mean he cannot dark digivolve to Machinedramon. If your recall of Digimon Adventure 01 and 02, then you know that dark digivolution is still in Agumon. When Greymon was under Digimon Emperor's Dark Ring Control, he forced him to digivolve to Metalgreymon but end up as Skullgreymon. It proven that dark digivolution is in them. If the good Digimon can digivolve properly, then they're safe and will not be corrupted into mad and evil monster. If not, they will be trapped in the form forever. Episode 24, Tokomon has already said this.

And also, I actually thought that Skullknightmon has the Gatomon's Holy Ring as a way to call Kari for resurrection ritual. But the last episode's recap on Episode 33 revealed that Gatomon is Skullknightmon due to Millenniummon captured and corrupted her into dark warrior digimon. Because of that monster's corruption and force dark digivolve, she became scared and worried that she might end up becoming evil and trapped in that form. Thanks to Kari's kindness and faith, she finally let go of her fear about dark digivolution and put faith in her partner like what other Digimon Partners did with others.

Unlike Pokemon's evolution, they casually evolve into the highest form without concerns and fear. But for Digimon's case, they have many and various kind of forms - good and bad. They can choose and digivolve into any of them but this all depends on how they used the power and digivolution.

I've always said before. The power must be carefully and properly sued, not abused. Once abused too much, you may end up destroy yourself. I don't need to tell you how previous Digimon Franchise that the protagonists digimon almost got themselves killed due to their Dark Digivolution such as Greymon turned into Skullgreymon, Nyaromon became Ophanimon Falldown Mode, WarGrowlmon into Megidramon, Agunimon slide into out of control BurningGreymon and of course, ShineGreymon entered Ruined Mode.

I cannot say about others, and why not focus on them. All I can say is that only time can tell.

I need to work on not reading the titles at the begging of the episode though. this was again a good episode, I really like this road they taking with tailmon, its super interesting and gives us more those slice of life moments with hikari even if its during the battle.. also i found stupid that marinedevimon just standed there and waited whole time for killingblow.

I thought I'm going to be emotional after seeing angewomon, instead I felt more disappointed. Last time I felt emotional is when guardamon dies and lilymon debute. I mean, I'm not the only one who expects an spectscular moment for angewomon since it's a holy digimon like patamon. But meh, let's hope for ophanimo the best.
