I worked at Outback Steakhouse night shift in 1996… after work we went around the block to the fry cooks apartment Andy, there we would have acoustic guitar jams until 3 am. He was good and I learned a lot there.

I love that Outback was standing in for Black Angus in that bit

"A deep-fried pumpkin stuffed with buttered scallops" This is a very funny bit.

Still love his KFC bowls bit and the time he corrected his college Physics professor on insignificant Star Trek lore…

Patton Oswalt was right. Hamburglar says "robble robble."

This was one of those bits that was in my head for years.

This morphed into the Black Angus bit.

That was such a great duo performance, they both dug deep for that one, hilarious!

The outback steakhouse bit was almost word for word from his comedy Album 'Feelin' Kinda Patton'. If you think about it, it's the comedian version of a guest band doing the single from their latest album.

I love that slogan too! "Beef it's what's for dinner. SO SHUT YOUR TRAP! YOU'RE GETTIN BEEF, YA JACKWAGON!!!"

It is "Robble, robble." After the theft, it's "We've been hamburgled!"

When I moved in with my wife, I found a strange thing in the kitchen drawer that sort of resembled the handle of an old electric toothbrush. (Easy now!) It was a thing you stick a tootsie pop stick in, and it TURNS THE SUCKER FOR YOU! It ran on an AA battery. Now, I was pro lazy as a kid. Seriously, I thought I had game. But THIS was beyond even MY slothful skills.

The irony is no one in Australia has even heard of Outback Steakhouse.

It's the Black Angus bit, but it's still hilarious.

I recall Jemaine Clement doing an Outback ad....he's from New Zealand lol

You can really see how he practiced that routine; all of the inflection points and tones are exactly the same as on the album. It's a little painful seeing him try to do it conversationally and just launch into the entire bit, but it really is such a well-written piece. lol

Wow can't believe how long ago this was. I think I saw this live.

Gotta love standup bits in the guise of an interview.

Hamburgler said “Rubble Rubble”. I know, I’m truly old now.

A quick google search confirms what I assumed. Patton was right about the Hamburgler's gibberish.
