For OG Fortnite returning I think they should actually make it feel nostalgic. They should bring back old graphics and old UI. And yes, they need to disable turbo build. I also think they should bring back old movement for this, disable sliding and mantling, and disable sprinting. And I don't know how they would do this but in order for this to not get stale, just make new POI's every once in a while like there was in chapter 1 as well as weapons, but like "OG style". I'm not sure if that makes sense to you but yeah, that's my opinion.

This is a positive imo. I started in late Season X and the OG season is my favourite season ever because of how much i liked the older style of gameplay. Having this permanently also allows Epic to experiment more with BR while also keeping more people playing. Yes it could get stale, but I think itll be a nice way to take a break from modern fortnite.

I also agree that they should remove turbo building for this gamemode exclusively.

My problem with it coming back is that they will keep all the “new” mechanics, new “gun variants” of og guns, and will not be suprised if the map is different and art style is too. Hence players who didn’t play back then don’t get a real grasp on what it was like. Whilst we get stuck wishing they can change a couple simple things to make it good.

It’s already happening OG is the lamest game mode they’ve ever came out with impossible for new players hard for old players the only thing that’s cool is the og pass other than that it’s trash it feels like you’re playing a ranked mode you’ll be lucky to find a weapon before dying every match good luck to our new players

The problem is that in Real og Chapter 1 fortnite, people played for fun but now people play for competetive reasons.

Removing turbo build is the best idea i've heard since I saw that og was coming back. After all, building is a core mechanic of the game so removing it just wouln't feel the same, old sounds, graphics and all that is great, but the skill gap from the people that play the game so frequently and have "mastered" building to the casuals, kind of ruins the experience. I've been casual since S1 and I used to have fun for different reasons (friends I used to play with, time to play, etc), but even after having all those reasons back it just doesnt feel fun anymore to play BR because I'll never have a chance to even catch up to those guys.

I am 101% honest when I say this, chapter 1 returning forever it’s probably one of the best ideas that epic has had, if you really think about it is not going to be 100% OG it’s gonna be like last year where there is still running mantling and sliding and all that, so when you think about it it’s gonna die down some of the OG that we got last year but overall we could have some of the best content yet especially if they completely go OG and turn of turbo building and whatever else just know this will be the only game mode I will actually want to play because I love chapter 1 that much

Its a seperate gamemode for the many many people who want to play og for a majority of their time. If you’re not one of those people then play the normal game. Also i would like for them to add in the old textures/sounds/old everything and it is possible but i dont believe they would do it.

Honestly, the game is already beyond dead, the only people its going to bring back are the OG players, its not like its gonna kill the game further than it is.

I agree, turbo building should he removed in the OG completely (or even better leave it in but add a delay between building so you dont have to constantly click), however the thing when i lasy played fortnite, the problem is in editing not building for the most part. Editing should have a delay as well imo

Fortnite doesn’t need to go back to the same chapter… it needs to go back to the same style.

The one that doesn’t look like a tv show for 5 year olds
