I've had that happen too, I've noticed its always only the mk4 (fire) robots that it happens to and I'm assuming its a strange glitch with their fire resistance. Definitely a pain if you're o a level like this where it makes getting to them impossible without sacrificing yourself (if you have a clone that is)
