FILM DESCRIPTION:
On a routine journey through space to a new home, two passengers, sleeping in suspended animation, are awakened 90 years too early when their ship malfunctions. As Jim and Aurora face living the rest of their lives on board, with every luxury they could ever ask for, they begin to fall for each other, unable to deny their intense attraction until they discover the ship is in grave danger. With the lives of 5,000 sleeping passengers at stake, only Jim and Aurora can save them all.

I just realized that Jim affirming that there are 'no secrets' is why Arthur registered that it would be okay to reveal that Jim woke up Aurora

I don't get why people are upset with Arthur. Aurora said clearly "There's no secret between us" and Arthur calculated she probably already knew about Jim waking her up. It's a machine people, numbers and stuff.

Imagine someone has no idea what this movie is about, this scene out of context is hilarious

imagine if they started the movie right when aurora woke up instead of when Jim woke up. This would be terrifying

It's a real shame they didn't turn this movie into a horror/thriller, the premise would've been so promising

Arthur totally makes this scene. His little facial expressions and ticks add so much depth. Michael Sheen really did a fantastic job in what amounted to basically a thankless role, due to the fact that 100% of the press coverage for this movie was about Lawrence and Pratt

Fun fact: Jennifer Lawrence went off-script here - her responses (e.g. "I'm going to be sick . . I can't see . . .) were actually adlibbed by Jennifer. The director thought it was so good they kept it in.

One of the greatest twists that never was, so much wasted potential by not showing Aurora waking up first

The scene would work way better if you didn't know he did it before hand. I think they should have started with Jennifer waking up, and meeting Chris, and we think they both happened to wake up and then fall in love. But then it's revealed he woke her up on purpose, and you flashback and show all his scenes leading up to it to see his point of view.
