It's difficult to reliably know what is going in the wartime economy of an authoritarian economy. A headline gdp growth figure is one of the least reliable data points in this circumstance.

Fox news should report on its own country and not placate national enemies. Weak and sad.

Reporting economic numbers from Russia itself.
Look to the numbers produced by Sonnenfeld and Tian at Yale.
Look to Zeihan.

Oh, BTW, US petroleum production is at an all-time high.

👉 Total lie. According to *Statista* and *The Guardian* article published on April 10, 2023, Russia economy is very negatively impact by sanctions and Ukraine War with *nominal GDP falling to $1.3T while spending on war takes up 7% of budget (while *US GDP is $25T with 0.33% of budget spent on Ukraine. That's 1/3 of 1%.)*

Have the sanctions stopped oil sales to China and India? How did taking away access to Mcdonalds and H&M hurt Russia, when Russian business took their place. How about relations with Turkey, the hot spot for Russians to go to for vacation. There is more, but I prefer you do your own research.

According to the Bureau of Economic Analysis, the US's gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 6.3% in 2023, or $1.61 trillion, to a level of $27.36 trillion. Way to go "Sleepy" Joe!
