You completely forgot to turn on the navigation radar, leave it at standby for about 5 minutes. When the red light next to the knob goes out, you put it on land our sea as required (fields ops vs carrier ops).

Decided to learn this plane first. It was the first jet I saw in person when they were used by the Blue Angels. Navy planes are the best!

This plane no longer has nose wheel steering, you have to steer by using the brakes on the left and right wheel to turn. They did this because the actual a4 does not have it.

For the new pilots, there is no more NWS (Nose Wheel Steering) anymore.

Dear Cap, would you happen to have the axis curve settings for this aircraft? Seems to be too "twitchy" on the roll.
Unfortunately, I don't have a 2 foot long stick in between my legs like you do. ;)

Cap, how do you identify if Friend or Foe from the HUD gunsight in the F-16? Is there a way to tell without the radar? I see that in the F-15 there is an "X" over friendlies, but I can't get that to come up in the F-16.

CalI know when starting the a4 the throttle is pulled ALL the way back..( further that it nornaly travels...and STARTING the a4 the throttle pops out to the right and forward to start the engine. ( so far no issue) BUT, i can NOT reverse that same process when shutting down ( or even restarting) i can NOT get the throttle to go PAST ( back/left) the normal operating position.

What am i missing? is there a LEVER..BUTTON ?? KNOB??? something i can not see...or have found in any video or manual. Please someone HELP

The mouse can NOT do the same thing it does to bring the throttle forward from its locking position...to park it/ put it BACK in it's lock/parking position.
he entire throttle is UN-CLICKABLE returning it to cutoff/parking position...i can Only click it OUT of the Far back ( locked/parked) position....i can NOT return it to the same place no matter what i do..where i click it...have spen HOURS trying to find/figure out how to get it to return to cutoff with no luck!


MAYDAY..not many hairs left 🙂 need help.

So I just downloaded the latest edition to the a4e and now I cannot increase the throttle after doing the exact start up sequence. Very confused please help!

My nose wheel steering doesn't work and I find myself not being able to turn enough or turning to much using brakes and throwing myself into the grass
