Just changed my timing belt the whole kit including water pump and my car sounds 10000x better 😂 got rid of the ticking sound

Yo I have same exact car. 07 accord v6. How’s yours doing? I’ve done A LOT of work on mine. I let it go for years after a stupid accident that ruined it cosmetically. then finally got into working on it. Replaced so many parts. I have 197, 000 miles. How about u? I just did timing belt at like 160k.

Could the noise go away after running for like 10 minutes mine sounds just like that but ounce it's running and warmed up it goes away

@Epro95 you should have recorded the sound. Of the bad part with the hood up. With the camera by the engine as well. Plus the volume is to low.

Will the cars AC compressor get affected? Because a mechanic told me my compressor is faulty but I hear the squeals of the belt. So I am wondering if the timing belt is the issue 😅
