I got the name Babylon, spelled correctly, no special characters. The guy that convinced me to play was so mad I got a good name without even trying

I have a solution. You have to have a two part gamer name. You take something cool or edgy like (sword, flame, death) and then combine it with something bad or lame (slime, goblin, fart, ) almost always makes a name that's not been taken.

I tend to randomly make a name that I kinda like, then all of my alte become a variation. My main is Stronk (which became Strawnk on server change), my one alt is Strunk, my other is Mawnk...

I just did a complete roster revamp using MoP remix. Most of my chars were named because my main is named Highone, and people know me as High.
I renamed all 23 chars to start with a different letter. It took me several hours, but I got all of them names I like on a very high population server. No special characters or anything.

Never had any issues with names. Although they are stupid af. Herbalgin for example. I meant it as a pill, painkiller, but from herbs - it was a resto druid, but i end up with Herbal Gin instead lol. Without even realising it untill someone pointed this out for me.
