I think a big reason for loving rain is that it drowns out the background noise of everyday life. We are easily distractable but in rain, we feel more closed in as the water falls and we feel more centered. That's my opinion.

I like this a lot. It reminds me of when I'd visit my uncle in Florida. There'd be a thunderstorm every day at four. He had a lot of big glass windows and doors in his house. It sounded just like this. We'd all just be quiet, drinking sweet tea, and watching the little lizards on the patio scramble around.

I live in a very rainy place, and watching these videos makes me appreciate that even more! So lovely. Reminds me of a time when I was at my grandmother's house. Twas a dark and stormy night, and I was curled up on a couch on the patio with my Kindle-- I like real books more, but it was nice to be able to read in the dark-- and a blanket, with a warm cat laying on my chest. Best. Night. Ever.
After a while, though, I got cold (and a little wet) and had to come inside for a cup of hot cocoa. :)
