Using Waves Vocal Rider to write volume automation in FL Studio

In this video I am showing how to use Waves Vocal Rider to write the volume automation on a vocal track. I didn't really find anything online that explained this in detail so hopefully this video will help some of you who want to do this in FL Studio.

I know it's only for demonstration but at 5.59 you slid all the points to the right without realizing it. So best would be to deactivate the slide function before doing this 😄

Whats the point of automating it if vocal rider does it for u on off

I recorded the vocal rider on vocal track (Verse). everything is great. And then doing it again on another vocal track (Chorus), seeing it on playlist - edit pattern and don't see it or cant find it anywhere in piano roll. I did choose pattern 1 for a first track and 2 for second track that are nothing in there to record them. what happening thu?

You say to have it on a new pattern, but how do you link that pattern with the vocal rider? I've followed this step by step and my pattern has no relation to the vocal writer and I've been unable to link them.

im new to this. should this be done before or after gain staging with hornet vu meter?
is it: Vocal rider > hornet auto vu > compression?
