Zoom Issues in Blender - Solved

oh nice, I didn't know about that. I have got into the habit of using Alt + Middle mouse button click to focus on a specific area, but this seems more intuitive. Thanks!

As with everything else in Blender, if there is an option then there is a reason. Good to know that preference setting, dot focus, ctrl mmb . Or fly - ha. Those are the ones I can think of. Different scenarios. If you start getting stuck one way, switch it up. I always forget to take a break from the clicky and fly around and just look/ think. i just use dot(.) button to focus and zoom to specific model or mesh, easy fast one click and no focus problems

It allowed me to get a bit closer but not close enough that I can actually see the edges I'm selecting. Very irritating. Why is there no solution to this?
