I had a Gizmo Furby from Gremlins. I pierced it ear with a safety pin and gave it a ball chain necklace 😂❤

I remember my mom bought me and my childhood friend Furbys for Christmas. She put hers in deep sleep mode, and somehow that mf woke up AND proceeded to wake mine from her nap unprovoked. We both took the batteries out, shoved them in the back of the closet, and never played with them again. 🤣🤣🤣

Min started talking when I cut on sleep mode as a kid. I wake up to it in the dark saying I'm hungry, feed me. . I threw it downstairs and it didn't stop. I got up the next day and threw it in the dumpster 😮

One time we took the batteries out of the furby and it still kept talking. We were freaked out and threw it out the window

Furby worked without batteries because they had a powers source that could keep it going for a bit if the batteries died or were removed. I promise they weren't possessed 😂

Didn't want it. Thought they were too baby-ish. Aunt got me one. I said thank you, put it on my bookshelf, never put batteries in it. Mf'er would make noise randomly. I tried to give it to my sister. She gave it back. I think I eventually sold it at a garage sale. Swear the thing was possessed.

My mama got tired of me crying in the middle of the night bc i was scared. So she tied my furby to a tree and shot it a couple times with buckshot. The batteries were out but it still went off a couple times.
Sometimes I wonder if that furby still roams those woods

I got my daughter a Furby for Christmas. I bought myself one too thinking they could be friends. Well, how dumb was that! The one I got myself was possessed, or something. He would not shut up!! He would talk when no one was around. I’d go to bed and he would just start talking in the middle of the night. I even took the batteries out and he still wouldn’t stop. I killed it. I got that thing out of my house! Freaky!

It was actually Tiger Electronics that launched Furby. I worked for the company at the time. Hasbro bought Tiger, I think the next year.
