Sonic Adventure (Dreamcast) [Part 1: Sonic] (No Commentary)

This is a playthrough of Sonic Adventure for SEGA Dreamcast.

Sonic Adventure has been one of my favourite games for many, many years now, and I felt the run of SADX from a few years ago wasn't enough for my liking.

The original Dreamcast release may run at a lower framerate than DX and lack some quality-of-life features like skippable cutscenes and a second analogue stick for better camera control, but I absolutely adore the more atmospheric textures and lighting that sadly didn't make it over to the GameCube and HD ports.

This is Sonic Adventure at peak soul.

【3:38】 Man, for the standoff scene between Chaos and the Station Square P.D. S.W.A.T Team (before Sonic intervenes) in the original Dreamcast version of the game, I'd love it if the regular squad cars models were modelled from (for legal reasons) an off-brand *1997 Ford Crown Victoria LX Police Interceptor* and a *1996 Chevrolet Caprice 9C1 5.7L LT1* respectively.

1:17:09 does anybody else hear Eggman or someone's else's voice in the background under the wind sfx at the beginning of gameplay buffer between cutscenes? It sounds like someone exclaiming "hey!" Or "he"

Sonic Adventure is pretty great, hopefully Frontiers follows the same formula!
Actually I came here to ask abiut Sonic List world since the comments where blocked! I never played because it's only on the WiiU.. But why is it so hated by the players or not liked by the critics, to me it looked fantastic!
