Jesus, I wanted to answer your (rhetorical?) question in regards to why Blake Lively wanted to be her own fashion designer on the set. It is because she as a narcissist wanted to assert control. The thing is It Ends With US already had the clothes department which prepared the costumes for the film, so that department had to be eliminated (all of the ppl lost their jobs) bc Blake wanted to be in charge of it all. She also refused to meet with the intimacy coordinator and picked all of the music for the film, even chose a song by Taylor Swift (her best friend allegedly). Ryan Reynolds acted like a total jerk, berating Justin Baldoni in front of the entire crew and rewriting the scenes for the film that wasn't his. They (Ryan & Blake) even brought their own editors from Deadpool & Wolverine, and even though Justin's cut tested better with the audience, Sony was pressured to go with Ryan & Blake's cut. They hijacked Justin's entire film. Some truly unethical stuff!

Justin is innocent! BL is awful. Her and her husband both. I used to like Ryan Reynolds but I changed my mind about him bc he has been married to the Amber Heard 2.0 for over a decade. He is controlling and did some awful things to Justin Baldoni, he has revealed his true self imo.

I have been on Justin’s side since the very beginning. Not even once I doubted him. I could see right through her scheme. The fact that she hasn’t even read the book before taking up the role. That says all about her. The author writes in the erotic novel genre. I knew of her when she had only three or four books to her name and booktok didn’t exist. That book is full of those scenes. He would have no place for additional scenes.

Ryan was not the original director of Deadpool. There was another director who left because it became apparent to him that Ryan wanted control of the movie.

Only in Justin's case, it did not work out for Blake. Justin bought the rights for "It Ends with Us" and also to the sequel. I think she was hoping Justin would go quietly and hand over the sequel to her which was a massive miscalculation on her part.

Blake bragged to a reporter on the red carpet her husband rewrote scenes for her movie and said up until that point, no one was aware of Ryan's contribution. That caused a podcaster to ask the question if Ryan was rewriting the script during the writers' strike. Would not be a good look.

The producer brings the money while the director brings the vision for the set of the movie. The director highers costume designers to match his/her vision for the movie. He also owns the rights to the book and was trying to make the movie as close to the book as possible.

8:45 as someone who unfortunately tried her hair care line I completely get why some people didn’t like the product it left my hair feeling dirty way down and oily like I haven’t washed it in weeks and even worse my hair did not feel clean even after just washing it not to mention it had this really odd chemically undertone that was very offputting. Even though it was quite expensive - really expensive for the quality I found I got - I ended up tossing it after four or five days.

Just the way she was promoting not just her hair care line but the fact that she was also trying to promote her alcohol brand by having signature drinks based on characters and scenes in the movie (just like the author who created a nail polish line, naming the colors after characters and scenes about DV).

Ultimately, she was desperately trying to have that Barbie/Oppenheimer moment and was trying to promote it like that as well as cross promoting her husband Ryan Reynolds movie… you cannot blame Baldoni for her best steps because from the beginning when he approached Sony, he told them that he wanted to really bring light to the issue of domestic violence including giving one percent of the proceeds to a domestic violence, charity, and that if they did not agree to it, he would not sign with them to make the movie. Plus correct me if I’m wrong but BOTS are not video commentary, and the majority of bad press she got was on TikTok… so I’m not entirely sure how she can blame it on Baldoni unless his team hired thousands of people to make these negative comment videos… not to mention in Hollywood. It is not Baldoni who had the power where Hollywood would protect his bad behavior and reputation Blake, lively on the other hand with her husband. Ryan Reynolds did have that power and has been known to use it to cover up her own consistent, bad behavior, diva, like antics, bullying mean girl persona since the beginning of her career and with the Internet, those past mid steps are out there for people to find an amplify…

I have not seen the movie but I have seen a few clips. She is not that good of an actress to fake emotions. She wanted him and he rejected her and that made her mad is my theory.

What baffles me is that all this scandal is roped around a freaking Coleen Hoover book. If you’ve read her books you know that she is bad at character creation. She is into a b u s i v e narrative and likes to have male characters berate female characters. “Ugly Love” was absolutely traumatizing for me to read. Mind you, that book was getting movie adaptation almost a decade ago and even had a trailer with legitimate actors out. What tanked that project I don’t know but this author is a bad omen. Google what her son Levi was accused of doing. No wonder she is basking in this chaos. She wants the movie, the fame, the connections to Hollywood A listers and Justin is not that popular now that she is besties with Lively. Only tiktokers like that author. Those of us who have been avid readers for decades know her notoriety in the community and she’s not liked at all.
