So little of anything of what Blake ever says in interviews makes sense to me. So she’s basically seems to be saying that unless she has a hand in the direction and creative aspects of a film she is unable to act. That’s so ridiculous those people that she likely admires have generally only got to a position where they can have multi faceted roles in a film because they have proven themselves first and foremost as gifted actors able to embody a character with nothing but the steer of a director. They’re likely then to be trusted with a director or producer role and usually excel at it because they truly understand it having being subjected to it for so long. But Blake seems to just want to get to that stage as she is: a mediocre actress with no particularly stand out or challenging roles despite her long career in the industry. But then this behaviour has all the hallmarks of entitled nepo baby who’s parents paid for doors to be initially opened and then a famous husband allowed them to continue to be opened so I guess she’s never had to really prove anything..

I don’t think she knows what a ‘movie producer’s’ role is. Apparently she took on the role of director as well 😩 From what I can tell, the producer organises people, locations etc, and not involved in the directing and creative aspect.

This is why Justin Baldoni said she should direct the next movie, she obviously can’t take direction well. I’m all for being collaborative in a work place but there’s specific jobs for a reason….she wanted it all…to direct, to act, to control everything. It seems like she thinks she has a right to everything but that’s not true. Unfortunately she had the power dynamic in this situation and Justin got pushed out. Looking at the all the interviews and the cast members flocking around her (including Colleen Hoover) they picked the wrong side!! Justin backed off graciously whereas Blake can only talk about herself and her role in the movie…..blah blah blah.
