Around here marine diesel is $1 cheaper a gallon then marine gasoline on top of the 30% fuel economy difference but its still alot of money one nice thing is the increased torque they probably hold up to being on a much heavier boat then say a Yamaha 300

Youd never recoup the cost. I could buy 4 gassers. But the idea is priceless

If the service life is 3x, good. If the fuel efficiency is 30% better, better. What's best is having a safer fuel on a boat; diesel is far safer on a boat than gasoline, hands down.
