Meh, I did an associate's at a local state college. The entire tuition was not even $6K, and tuition was due every semester so i didnt have to pay all of it up front (I think the most expensive semester was around $1, 600. So I graduated with ZERO debt. Not to mention my employer will pay for my BSN when I'm ready for it. Imo, if you're paying more than $20K for your nursing degree, you're getting ripped off. Do some research and shopping around before you pull the trigger ladies and gentlemen, you don't want to be in a world of debt for a mere nursing degree.

Fyi, I found an easier pathway to become an RN without debt.Go to a community college and get your RN, While working get your employer to sponsor you for your cnl or better still do a RN-BSN.it’s way cheaper.regardless of the school you would be paid same amount.#Thingsiwishiknew

I definitely spend more time socializing than studying. Studying typically takes up about 3-5 hours of my week. I’m usually watching youtube or sleeping. Not everyone is miserable during nursing school, so don’t worry. I am just about to finish my third semester and have one more left.

I do get paid at my internships in the Netherlands, but the salary after graduation is way less than in the US

Well it's free in the UK. In fact when I trained we were paid for our work and had a monthly wage. Mind you we basically provided most of the man power in the he hospital and looking back it was frankly dangerous. Once as a second year student I was in charge of FOUR unconscious patients 😬
