I think you should try to repair/refinish the existing wheels first. I think it is the cheaper option and is within your skill set. knowing how meticulous you are, I am eager to see the results. Besides, I am confronted with the same task on my gf’s C300 which has a really bad case of curb rash. If all else fails, you can always buy a new set of wheels.

Buy new wheels, can’t recommend Enkei enough 18x8.5 +38 is a really good size for these cars. 17x8.5 +38 is also great fitment. I have 18x8.5 +38et Enkei pf09 and love them! Super strong light and relatively affordable.

if you would just get more stock wheels you might as well try to repair the ones you have and make a video.
