She probably works in grocery pickup too, and Walmart actually requires them to bag like that.
Blame Walmart not the employee

I think she was very thoughtful and considerate. Most ppl will throw bread under milk and not care unfortunately. I like when ppl separate my bags by category also.and yes glass products should be bagged so they don't break.

😂I live in Germany where you have to pack your own stuff and each plastic bag costs 25 cents

I always like it when they double bag because I need them for the bathroom trash. 🤭 Saves on buying the smaller trash bags.

As someone who has OCD, I wouldn't use a horrible mental health condition that millions of people suffer with to describe someone who's simply following their training and being considerate enough to make sure your glass items don't break or raw meat doesn't accidentally leak into your other items.

She was being considerate. Some customers actually get mad when cashiers don’t double bag and separate certain stuff 😂 when I worked at Walgreens as a teenager old women stayed getting mad at me when I didn’t double bag things 😩🥴

OCD isn’t a term to just throw around, it sucks. be mindful.

I work at a grocery store and when you are in training, they tell you to double bag or even triple bag, glass items and too separate items into categories, meat doesn’t go with different meats and meet never goes with produce and produce stays in its own bag. There’s just a certain way that you are taught to do it. Normally for me, I always ask the customer if it’s OK if we put so-and-so in a bag together or if they want certain items in a bag because as long as you ask, you can’t get it wrong and otherwise, if you don’t know you just have to do it the way that you were originally taught to

please do not call people “a bit ocd.” ocd is a real struggle, not an adjective or an insult.

Us that are old enough to remember when stores had baggers. They were trained to bag the items like that..cold with cold, pantry with pantry etc but they used the bigger paper bags

She actually did a phenomenal job at making sure your groceries were packed right and your bags would rip when you are transporting them

There is no such thing as “a bit ocd” wtf u don’t just throw out words like that!! And damn I hope the cashier sees this and next time tells u to bag ur own stuff or just doesn’t care how ur stuff is bagged!

Buy forever bags, although it’s not the baggers fault, it’s a ridiculous amount of plastic used & could be avoided if you brought your own.

this is so crazy to look at as a German, we are all used to bring our own reusable bags

Nice to see that you got someone still knows how to do their job properly. She wasn't being OCD. That's is the way it's supposed to be done! CUDOS to the employee they deserve a raise!!❤❤

Hey OCD is an actual mental health condition you can’t be a bit “OCD” just like job can’t be a bit “bi polar” or “ schizophrenic”. If the cashier has OCD that should not be used as a negative connotation. Mental health matters and words matter as well

I used to be a cashier and some people will yell at us if we don't bag like this... like come back to the store and yell at us that we ruined their stuff. So yeah we get some anxiety when bagging certain things.
