I've been waiting for the function at 2:15 for YEARS. Now I can finally start using Cubase to mix instead of moving over to Pro Tools for the mix portion. Automation was brutal in Cubase and now this solves it. Thank God Steinberg listened!

And when I open a track vst and record, in the track you can not see the notes, you see the transparent bar, and when I finish recording, you see the bar in black, without notes or anything, the weird thing is that I click on the midi track and the editor opens below, and the midi notes are seen, but in the editor, on the vst track, . Could you tell me how I can fix it? If I change the color of the track, if the notes are seen. Is it necessary to color the tracks so that midi notes are visible?
