I have never liked or understood sarcasm. Often disturbed by it. I struggle in the workplace present day. Currently unemployed. Elementary school and middle school had their share of incidents where the guidance counselor had to sit me down with a teasing kid and help me understand and for us to come to an agreement. I remember feeling shaken.

I hate this horrible disease. This was probably why I lost my friend because she has Autism severely and since she has it severely. Autism more than likely played a role in making the friendship toxic and eventually destroying it.

Im an adult and now understand people joke around, but it still can hurt me... how do you deal with your hurt feelings if you know in your brain that the other person didn’t intend harm 😔?
