Towing with a Tesla Model 3

My brief experiences when renting a small trailer and towing it behind my Tesla Model 3.

Grid serve in Braintree has drive through charging stations. Otherwise probably very rare. Last week was the first time I found a chademo I had to reverse my Leaf into the bay to use.

In case it's a useful benchmark for anyone, since making this video I have done some towing of my small 12ft dinghy, and that does have less of an impact; I reckon I get 2/3 of the range, or maybe a bit more. Something like 200 miles instead of 300. The fact that you're restricted to 60mph when towing also helps!

I'm really confused around the towing capacity on my model 3. I have the towbar but reading it can only tow 55kg, which is pretty low and couldn't really tow my bike rack and heavy ebike. How are you towing a trailer that's clearly a lot heavier than 55kg?
