Big Seal Bull Fights Rescue

This bull seal wasn't scared of Antoine or the OCN rescue net. Instead of fleeing, he almost seemed to challenge him rather than seek safety in the ocean. Maybe he's been rescued before? Many of our dock seals get entangled more than once because of the nearby harbor trash, especially plastic packing straps. It's not uncommon to find seals with multiple straps around their necks. We don't know if they play with the plastic loops or investigate the underwater debris, but we do know we need to find an alternative to plastic packing straps to protect marine life.
