In this video we do a little bit of finesse flipping for bass. This is a great way to catch a lot of fish by using a small bait and light weight to get more bites.

BassFishingHQ is dedicated to teaching people how to catch more and bigger bass. I will go over different bass fishing tips & techniques that will put more fish in the boat or on the shore. Whether you are just starting out or a seasoned tournament angler, my goal is to help you catch more bass.

Love this video. As someone who lives around shallow muddy water lakes this is my kinda fishing. In the heat of the summer all you need is a couple flippin sticks and a squarebill on the front deck. Ohio River 101 👊

I remember back 30 years ago when I did nothing but jig fish all day. I caught every pound class of bass from one to 14 pounds. I only used 1/4 oz jigs and nothing else and I never fished deeper than 10ft and I fished 12 months of the year. I guess today you would call that finesse fishing.
If you want to be a jig fisherman then try it the way I did it. You will be amazed with the results.

Enjoy your videos. Fairly new to bass fishing, and trying to soak up as much information as possible. The water you are fishing in this video would you refer it to as "staind" water? Trying to learn the what type of bait to use in different water clarities. Thank you.

In Ohio in my river I never had any luck with the brush hog. The speed craw was 🔥 though!

I use the same knot you do, but I don’t know what it’s called. I’ve heard it called a lot of different things, but I’m leaning toward “double reverse clinch.” What do you call it?

Love your videos but you might want to do some research on pouring soda on a fishes gills. While it may appear to stop the bleeding at that moment it only makes the bleeding worse once you put them back in the water.
