The memory footprint of the system is smaller, while the applications open noticeably faster.
New Battery saving mode for laptops, that promises 20% improvement in battery life and it can turn on automatically when the laptop is not plugged in.
Now the mini mode of the new start menu has categories too, what is surprising tho is that the recently open apps actually go to the top of the menu.
The Deepin file manager now has folder and file permissions settings (finally?)
It also has now the ability to format a USB stick straight from the file manager (cool... )
Oh and the ISO is smaller now from 3.2 to 2.4 GB Thanks for watching!
