First time I am using Linux distro and completly blown away already with Zorin OS .... Just Incredible finally coming out of Windows environment....still wondering what took me so long to switch it's almost 30 years of being window user .... God bless all open source developers ....

I run ZorinOS as my "just works" distribution on my PC for basic purposes and gaming from time to time and Arch on my laptop to actually learn more about the system. I could not be happier with that combination

I'm a former Debian guy but I switched to Fedora. The more frequent updates, flatpak, Wayland implementation and the ability to still use ifconfig and a few other commands Debian has deprecated sold me on it. It also has the cleanest implementation of Gnome out of the box. I could've done more tweaking with Debian but I'd rather just switch to a distro with devs who share my vision out of the box than make a slew of major changes to another distro and have things break as updates come along that are incompatible with the tweaks I had to make or obscure packages I may have installed.

Excellent video, mate! I've tried several Linux distros including Zorin and Garuda. Both are good, but I'm still a huge fan of Pop OS. It's on my secondary PC and I use it daily.

Using Linux Mint at the moment, I like most aspects, but it's starting to look a bit dated now and one bug bear is how long file copying takes in Nemo (ie gets to 99% and sticks because the time estimation is way out). I find also with Mint that if my machines are handling files, everything else freezes. Very interesting Video. many thanks - food for thought.

The best one for me is Linux Mint. If you want it to look like Garuda, just download the theme and the icons and it looks so f... beautiful! Linux Mint is faster in a 8-year-old PC than Windows running on a new and high-end machine.

Hi guys. In search of lightness, beauty and performance, I installed Garuda LXQt. It's a amazing system as long as you don't try to install most recently proprietary nvidia drivers.
On my LG A560-T notebook with GT-640M, I used the automatic driver installer itself, but the display always loses the original 1920x1080p setting and goes to a maximum of 960x540... a disaster!
I was lucky to have resorted to Timeshift.

I get the aesthetic appeal of Elementary and Deepin. I honestly can't stand Garuda. The initial icon set seems geared towards someone who has a PC case with all the RGB they could find. For someone who wants a nice Be Quiet black case without any distractions, just a clean classic look, then Mint would be the choice for a lot of people. a great default icon set in my opinion. a pretty consistent look and feel, a comfortable interface in cinnamon, but yet still has customizability for tweakers or a get straight to work configuration for simply getting things done (my distro choices depend on what the system is meant for. Mint for GTD (Get Things Done) or Arch for tweak the hell out of a compiz based UI.
