MELEEE!! With Super Smash Bros. Ultimate coming out soon for the Nintendo Switch - I wanted to take a look through the series and see what kinds of Scrapped characters and fighters were considered for each installment. From rumored fighters to one’s scrapped right before release, there are MANY Nintendo characters that didn’t make the cut for the Smash Bros. series!

In today’s episode of Scrapped I’ll show you the fighters that were cut from the first sequel of the series, Super Smash Bros. Melee for the Nintendo GameCube.

A little error, but there's 25 characters in Melee, 26 if you count Zelda and Shiek as two separate characters. And also, how did Google still not fix that image mess up of that black dude when searching up Masahiro Sakurai?!

To be honest, I'd have no problem with James Bond being in a Smash game, even though it's not possible for many reasons.

Ayuma's reason to be scrapped is hypocritical because Marth and Roy were not known in the west but they still made it into the final release of the game.

Otherwise the Goku requests would've been more rampant than ever since Sakurai implemented a movie character, even though said character is more based on his appearance in the N64 Classic.
