if you buy the 737 from asobo it comes with a whole game for free

You should have paused the side by side of whatever side was not giving out sound you didn’t really give either side a chance to show case the sounds

why does the ifly sound like it has an afterburner in the outside view?

For a default aircraft looks wise the asobo max is very very impressive compared to the 320 and 747 we got in 2020. The ifly of course looks better but the asobo max is not bad at all. It just doesnt WORK it is so broken right now. Once it actually works it will be a fantastic plane for the casual sim audience.

They sound almost identical. That's pretty cool. The flight model doesn't really bother me that much because I don't know how the real planes fly. So why would I worry about it? As long as it isn't too light or heavy. I'm good.

Honestly, if the community support is as big as it is for FS2020, we can probably see some open source freeware mod that adds a lot of extra systems and all for the 737 Max, just like the FlyByWire 32NX.

The sound of the MSFS2024 FMC is so nice!

To mean it looks like the MSFS24 model sits too high on the landing gear, like there is no strut compression.

I think the default will be enough for me.

Both of them look great on their own way.

The ifly sounds like a server room in the cockpit, or am I missing something, I mean I get it, we are not IRL, but cmon, who could concentrate in a cockpit for 7 hours if it were that loud, I mean I cant imagine even being able hear the ATC properly. I think iFly is in trouble on this one, the max you get with the sim seems really good, and like some commenters said below, there is such a high chance that some open source company like FBW comes through and really upgrades it substantially. iFly is great, is it $60-70 worth, when you are getting a max for free that is at least 60%-70% of what you want, I guess each person will have to decide that on their own.

I hate how the pfd is so dark by default but I know you can change it but it irks me so much

iFly never finished their plane from FSX! It was broken and almost was never able to capture an ILS signal. That automatically makes it a no buy for me!

if you plan on staying on msfs 20 than ifly is your choice but if your moving on to 24 than the default it is still has time to improve while ifly is a finish product another issue would be the port over to 24 how will ifly manage

The stabilizers are more accurate in the Asobo MAX, But IFLY takes the rest

Yeah. There will probably something like FBW A320 but for 737max will release later on

I think part of the fuselage above the windshield looks a bit odd on ifly version. The angle is too sharp, the real 737 and the Asobo version are a bit smoother.
