In 2022 Allianz won't cover covid diagnosis if you're going to an event like a concert though. I missed out on a concert because I contracted covid but they said it wasn't a covered benefit. Smh

ok, great video...BUT....i have waited until the last minute not really realizing you have to purchase when you book. now, i have 6 cruises booked for the next year. no pre existing conditions as defined, but hubby does take meds for hypertension. what now....i am thinking of an annual plan but to put out around 600 bucks all at once up front was a sticker shock to me. now, i am not sure what to do. we had a member of our travel party need medical evac and let me tell you...she is still fighting with the cruiseline about it and did not purchase insurance. now she is never allowed to cruise with them again (btw, she is in the wrong, but that is another issue. my takeaway is buy insurance. i just did NOT realize i needed it within 14 days of booking, and yes, i use a TA all the time. sad face for me.)

Wouldn't it make sense to wait until you buy the insurance so if cancel the trip for a full refund you are not out the insurance money. From what I have read, you only have about 15 days to get your money back once you purchase the insurance.
