From KK's book, it's pretty clear there was a lot of tension between him and Glenn Tipton. No telling what led him to leave.

I’m glad I got to see Priest in their prime. I saw their Screaming for Vengeance tour and their Defenders of Faith tour back in the early 80’s and they were so fkn great! I sure miss those days!🤘

Rob has some gull..He left the band in the prime of their career leaving them and the fans hanging..Just So he could boost his ego doing his own thing..And it hurt the band..For they never reached the same level of success like they had back then..I can`t help but think of all the great albums they could have made in the 90s.

I feel that in the last years with K.K., his energy on stage looked great, comparing with the rest of the band, especially Typton, who usually seemed tired or something (this was before Parkinson). I believe that Faulkner bring energy to the band, but that's because he was a new blood, younger, very skilled, full of energy on stage, and with new ideias, not because K.K. left. Faulkner probably helped to break some laziness caused by decades of success, I don't know.

A rock band like Priest is like a couple, the more years they are together, the more disagreements they have, and sometimes they manage to overcome the differences, sometimes they cannot. When couples cannot overcome differences, they separate, we have to respect that. Sometimes they reconcile later, and it would be great for the Priest to reconcile with K.K.

I accepted Faulkner in the band, but I see Sneap as a temporary tour replacement for Typton. Not saying that the dude isn't a good guitar player, but Typton shoes are to big for him. If the band and K.K. could overcome the shits between them, this is the time for K.K. return. The man is a monster who it's part of the band's DNA, whether we want to admit it or not. Common, wherever happened between them, it wasn't some Blackmore-Gillan shit (I think). The years are passing and the dudes aren't getting younger...

Im just glad I got to see the best Priest line-up back in the loudest show Ive ever attended. Great classic metal band. And I never tire from watching old videos and live performances from the 80's. They were the best...Im going to see them in October but my mindset is that Im seeing Halford play Priest songs with KK wont be there. I always considered him the image of Priest. Best look, moves, and the dude can play.

Translation: 'I cant put my ego aside and let KK back in the band'
Seriously Rob, every one wants to see KK onstage with Faulkner now that Glenn has retired from touring
But on another note, Judas Priest dont seem to want to acknowledge former members especially Ripper Owens
Iron Maiden play Blaze Bayley era tracks live yet Priest dont even play any of the Ripper albums live,
I know Rob probably couldnt hit some the super highs on jugulator and demolition BUT its not like he couldnt just rephrase the vocal parts
They refuse to even ackowledge the RIpper years you know the contraversial years THAT REFORMED THE BAND!

But KK did leave the band back in 2011 for all sorts of reasons and effectively moved on, so Priest went and got faulkner as his replacement,
But with the retirement of Tipton we hoped that all would be settled

Glenn seemed to cause more than his share of tensions in the band, with Rockarolla drummer John Hinch also citing this reason for his departure. RIP John. Hill is now the only remaining original member.

Ripper Owens confirmed all that KK stated was correct during his tenure in the band. Ripper has no reason to not be forthcoming.

Ian Hill can say what he likes; the truth is that an element like Downing is not replaceable.
Faulkner is a great guitarist, but Downing was on another level.
It goes without saying that the current Judas Priest, without Tipton and Downing, are no longer the Judas Priest.

The fans don't miss KK? Where the hell are they getting that from. At what point are they not Priest anymore? Technically, there is only one original member left, Ian. Remember, Halford is not the original singer. Although with Rob being on the first album, many do consider him to be an original member.

Glen you spent 40 years working playing and living with this guy. Some marital relationships don't even last that long. Just bury the hatchet. Be a man, do the fans a favor and invite KK back to JP. If it wasn't for KK there wouldn't be JP. Life's too short to hold a grutch.

Why pay an original guitarist at an equal salary when you can have a stand in at a much lower cost. It's always about the money.

People come and go in bands, but it's time to allow KK back into the band as he has expressed interest in doing so.

It's all about buisness and money. There were major disagreements between KK and the management of priest. Both parties won't go into detail publicly but that's why KK left and that's why the management doesn't want to work with him anymore. KK still owns one third of the trademark. Doesn't make things easier.

Faulkner is a great guitarist and bloke I'd say but kk - stood, hair dangling and V in the air - on unleashed in the east was my introduction to music. It was loud, primal, mysterious and not at all about flash licks and slickness. Even I knew then that Tipton played the best solos... However priest was the hair, that V and the wild hendrix whammy vibe

It's lame that they didn't bring him back.

guys in the band either dont have a good reason why they wont accept him back or they dont want to talk about the real reason. they keep saying "well he wanted to retire" so what? he retired so you guys cant accept him back because of it? thats bullshit. he changed his mind and now he wants to play with you guys again.
