I just realized because I'm a plumber I can do the plumbing for a unit at 15, 000, free of charge towards the contractor. Get a conventional loan. Pay the contractor who owns the new development 3-5 percent down. No mortgage insurance because I've already put 15, 000 into the property. This is not including any down payment assistance. I'm still learning and I appreciate your time sharing this valuable information. Thank you.

Once Kiana becomes a dr, all kinds of perks are offered. They (the med group or hospital) will find a realtor for you with moving assist (if you take a job in another state). There is a whole team that helps drs especially if you join a big medical group, but the hospital affiliated with the group join will help you.

I read in the fine print that you can never move out or refinance your house or you will have to repay NACA back. I don't want to live in a first home that I'm settling on due to high prices in my area. I don't mind living there for 3 years but at some point I would like to buy a home that is my forever home.
In this California market, you can't find anything under half a million dollars. I figure if I can manage to find something as a starter and later rent it out, it's a good compromise. But if I get NACA assistance, I'm tied to the home until I die lol, I can't commit to that. Can you research that? I read it on the main website, in the program fine print.

It sucks that in my state, these programs are no longer grants. They are low interest loans, (type of 2nd mortgage), some are forgiveable. Most have to be paid off b4 you can refinance or sell.

Yes and in Atlanta it was invest Atlanta and it was horrible because they didn't put a moratorium on the investors that were buying so to me they really don't want the citizens to be able to purchase in the city and I know that 1st thing because I was in the program
