2024 Toyota 4Runner SR5 Premium: Start Up, Walkaround, Test Drive and Review

👋 Check out this brand new 2024 Toyota 4Runner SR5! This 4Runner has the new color called Underground which is a nice more flat toned gray color. Driving the 2024 Toyota 4Runner is pretty much the same as driving a 2003 4Runner! This 5th Generation 4Runner feels no different with the 4.0L V6 and 5 speed automatic. The 5th gen 4Runner and 4th gen 4Runner are nearly the same underneath. Lots of body roll and brake dive and it's not too responsive in power from the low powered engine and transmission. The suspension is very soft which does make this very good off road, even with the 2WD. And there is a lot of room to make the 4runner very practical for people and cargo. The 4Runner is a very utility focused SUV and can be put to work! It sacrifices on road capability to be so useful, reliable and off road capable. Crazy these 4Runners are nearly $50k these days for the 2024 model year even though it's such an outdated old SUV. But it'll last forever and get the job done! We have seen a teaser of the 2025 Toyota 4Runner and that should be a very cool new SUV. This 2024 4Runner might be your last chance to buy a V6 in the iconic 4Runner. Overall the 2024 Toyota 4Runner seems like it will be the outgoing model and I am very excited to see what comes next with the 6th generation Toyota 4Runner!

Just bought one. Dealer tried to sell me "technology protection" because (they said) Toyota hasn't done a good job with things like the touchscreen. I didn't buy it, but thought I'd comment on that anyway. Great video!

New isn't better anymore, this is a perfect SUV with an extremely reliable engine and transmission. It may be a little boring, but 10 years from now people will be dying for a chance to purchase this vehicle. The new 4 cylidner turbo is total garbage.

I just ordered mine and my buddy said it comes in tomorrow. I’m beyond excited. I wanted to make sure to secure the v6 before 6th gen. Couldn’t be anymore happy and as I said… excited 😂 🎉

Still nice rigs. Probably will last long enough, to pass on to your kids. Not the fanciest SUV, however, they are still a wise investment. ✌️💙✌️

This old school 4runner is truly inspirational. Its sad and worrisome that Toyota is destroying its brand in real time to please environmental radicals.
