Welcome back to the Evening Standard’s LIVE coverage of the transfer window as we reach deadline day for the European market.

Clubs in the UK will have until 5pm on Friday October 16 to complete domestic transfers, but the big moves must be completed by 11pm BST tonight.

All eyes will be on Manchester United today, with Alex Telles and Edinson Cavani confirmed and Amad Diallo Traore to join the club in January.

Thomas Partey has arrived in London to join Arsenal after the Gunners triggering his £45million release clause after Houssem Aouar confirmed that he would be staying at Lyon for another season.

And that is all it is about these days....the money, no footballer is wort these obscene amounts just for kicking a bag of wind about. And they are treated like film stars, so sad so very sad. I wouldn't mind if they behaved like responsible adults, but they don't on or off the pitch.
