Should Arsenal cash in on Thomas Partey this January?

There's no doubt that when fit, Partey is a key man for Arsenal. His passing, dribbling and defensive skills make him vital in midfield.

But his constant injury issues are a major concern. He's already missed nearly 2 months this season, leaving a big hole when absent.

With Declan Rice joining, some feel Partey is expendable. Selling him would ease FFP troubles and raise funds for a striker and defender.

At 30, Partey's injury woes may only increase too. He's missed 45 games since joining Arsenal, almost 300 days out in total.

Partey clearly has the quality to stay. But between injuries, wages and incoming signings, Arsenal could be tempted to let him go.

Of course, we'd need a top midfielder signed first before sanctioning any Partey sale. Depth would be desperately short without him.
