Title: Quantum mechanics and the geometry of spacetime.

Abstract:

Black holes are fascinating objects which pose interesting puzzles for quantum physics. Studying these puzzles we are led to quantum mechanical models that describe special black holes as seen from the outside. Extrapolating from these descriptions we are lead to the idea that entanglement can create geometric connections or wormholes. Moreover, quantum teleportation can be interpreted as travelling through the wormhole.

Title: Making Traversible wormholes Understanding global AdS2

Abstract:

We will review the Sachdev Ye Kitaev model and describe how it shares some features with nearly extremal black holes.
We also describe the dynamics of nearly extremal black holes.
We will go over different physical phenomena, including chaos, quantum teleportation, etc, and their common manifestation in these two systems.


This lecture series is part of the discussion meeting "AdS/CFT at 20 and Beyond".

Roughly first 10 minutes is ICTS self-promotion.
Second 10 minutes is a review of why Maldacena is famous. It's a good review; could have been presented in less time.

Maldacena employed q-series raised to 24th power, solving the renormalization problem when Ramanujan solved the partition function (string theorists used the nth coefficient of the q-series) just as complexity and entropy of the whole universe, led Maldacena to conjectured the whole universe is a quantum computing function in his masterpiece of ADS/CFT duality, destined to solve the error correction.

Most lehet, hogy hülyeségnek hangzik amit mondok, de ennek a pasinak az arcán és a beszédben ( amit persze nem értek de mégis érződik az atgondoltsag) látszik az intelligencia és nem azért mondom, mert előző videóban öt tartják az új Einstennek. Ilyeneket és még sok egyebet is meg szoktam figyelni az emberek arcán, nekem ez egyfajta hobbi és passzív, de ha valaki is jó ember ismerő ék tart, vagy fog tartani az ebből fakad. Ezt persze lehet hogy sokan nem értik de nem vagyok jós.
