We all feel sorry for the people who do this to themselves but think of all all the years of opportunities to get better that Rebecca has turned down. You can't help someone who doesn't want to help himself.

What this man needs is not a "career in fashion." Spare us all those stupid comments. He needs intense in-house mental health therapy. He needs to be protected from himself and others, behind lock and key. He needs to be forced into a drug and alcohol recovery situation, since he cannot do it for himself, for at least two years, and hopefully more. After getting him clean and sober, at some point he needs to live in something like an Oxford House, a sober living situation, where he can live with other recovering addicts, get a basic job, learn how to live clean and sober, and learn how to conduct himself properly, for at least one year, preferably longer. He needs a strong dose of reality, none of this "Rebecca" BS. This is a man, NOT a woman, and he needs to be treated and referred to as such, not some silly-ass idea that he needs to be handled with kid gloves as a woman. He needs to learn reality. After years of clean and sober living, if he decides to behave as a woman, at least he will be clean and sober enough to make that decision. Until all of that starts to happen, this is still just a freak show for our viewing pleasure.

Rebecca is a highly educated, well traveled man. It is so sad what he's done to himself. He could be anything, but drugs and mental illness co tiniest unchecked.

I think about Rebecca all the time! It’s heartbreaking because I truly believe he could be some body!! He’s got a great spirit for fashion! I always wish him the best and hope he will finally get the help that has been offered to him so many times!

My brother had schizophrenia and was murdered I. Nashville, TN in 2012. My Mom did t want him placed. Burying his urn the 22nd along with my Mothers.
