I am using Xiaomi phones for 5 years now, I can say that Default apps on the hyperos feel very smooth and quick, but it still need atleast 1 year of updates to polish the system, Still need them to revamp the control center.

I wish you could do the same especially for Chinese variant devices. Phones with OriginOS or ColorOS for example. I feel like getting a look at what Origin OS as a CN exclusive skin is interesting

Hi, can we swap the Control Center and Notification shade swipe gestures on hyperOS? For example, if I swipe down from the right, it should show the Notification shade, and if I swipe down from the left, it should open the Control Center.

Not sure if it's just my phone or the OS itself but I am missing the stack media player either on lockscreen or notification tray.
In a12 and a13, i can scroll which media player i want to play ( like YT music then Spotify or Youtube) as long as it is in background.

Battery life ain't great yet and it also heats up pretty easy, had the phone for a week now. After how long does the software settle down? For the xiaomi 14 ultra.

You shoud review the tablet version, things are unique there as Xiaomi takes a different approach to desktop mode.

How about the always on display is fix now.
Because I need to turn on the developer mode to turn of the MUI settings so that my always on display will work.

Frankly speaking this HyperOS is not bad at all. I'm using it on my Xiaomi 14 and it's super smooth, bugs free. Just needs some organization in the settings as I'm for example finding screen timeout in lockscreen section, etc... Otherwise it's good.

I got the HyperOS update two days ago and came here to see what's changed and how different it is from MIUI. Just like you said "Xiaomi could've called it MIUI 15 and nobody would've batted an eye"! Although, I really like how they changed the font settings/styles! Still eager to see how HyperOS will evolve in the future!
