Trevor Lawerence should be fine, he just got screwed his rookie season with probably the worst coach in NFL history. Zach Wilson has just been a bust, so bad he got benched for Mike White in 2022 and got outperformed by him. Trey Lance never really got a chance as he was the backup his rookie season, then broke his ankle in game 2 of the 2023 season, where the 49ers eventually realized they accidentally stumbled across the best qb of the 2022 draft in Brock Purdy and thus didn’t need Lance anymore. Justin Fields can be great and has proved that several times, but he’s been inconsistent and also hasn’t had much talent around him, and both him and the Bears could benefit from a reset. Mac Jones regressed after a promising rookie season due to Matt Patricia and has yet to recover.
