Ninja Foodi NeverStick Cookware - 6 Month Review Update

In this video I show you how the NINJA FOODI NeverStick Premium cookware fared after 6 months of daily usage. This cookware was put to the test in my kitchen using stovetop gas, oven and induction cooking methods creating some of my Everyday meals.

Below are the claims by Ninja:

• Ninja Foodi NeverStick Premium Cookware claims to NEVER stick, chip, or flake.

• The premium cookware has an extremely durable shot-blasted, hard-anodized exterior that resists scratches like stainless steel.

• NeverStick Technology claims to be extremely durable and metal-utensil safe.

• Oven safe up to 500°F.

• The Long handles stay cool when cooking on stovetop.Heavy-gauge 4.5 mm aluminum base for improved heat retention.

• Uniquely designed to distribute metal thickness throughout the pan to prevent hot-spots so food cooks quickly and evenly.

• The Aluminum material coated in the "NeverStick" coating allows you to Sear like it was stainless steel.

• The Ninja Foodi NeverStick Premium Cookware is perfect for any type of cooking such as sauté, griddle, pan fry, shallow fry, deep fry, boil, steam, braise, bake, roast, and broil. No need to cook with oil or butter.

----------My takeaways from Ninja Foodi Neverstick cookware after 6 Months are as follows:-------------

After the 6 month test in "Your Everyday Joe" home kitchen I found that one of the claims that the coating doesn't chip did not hold up although, I have not found that the coating is flaking or continuing to peel off in those areas. Just to clarify, the damage was most likely caused by not storing properly which allowed the pans to bang together along the edges.

The non-stick surfaces of the "Neverstick" coating are still providing a very good non-stick surface and any scratches did not hamper it ability for even cooking without sticking.

The cleaning is still very easy and with just some warm water and dish detergent, the cleaning is a sinch.

Good job with the review Joe! I got the 11 piece set from Walmart for 149 back in January. These have been great. So far, I think they are holding up better than everything I've tried the last 20 years or so. It does take a couple minutes more to heat the pans, but they cook really evenly. I really think they will last the 5 years. Impressed!

A six month review is a good test mark. Thank you for your review. Nicely done. I look forward to your 1 year review. Maybe then I will take the Ninja plunge. The many negative reviews I've seen have held me at bay up to now. Real life tests are far more valuable than clever marketing, which is largely deceptive and untrustworthy. I have been trying to find an America's Test Kitchen review on the Ninja nonstick. Again, thank you.

Thanks for your review. My name is Doc and I bought a set of these and have been using them for almost 2 years now. There isn’t a scuff mark on them. They clean up so easy it’s unbelievable. And I have tried many different kinds of pans. I’m with you. They are great pans. And I love them and highly recommend. Cooking is fun again.

I'm around 6 months also. Mine are holding up great. 1 minor scratch (my fault). Still mostly nonstick. The little bit of tack it does have gives you the ability to brown and crisp food nicely. Best thing, no flakes of Teflon!! I was so impressed with them, I bought a set for a relative as a gift, and they absolutely LOVE them too.... My ONLY complaint is that the hole in the handle (I have the premium version) doesn't fit any of the hooks I have. C'mon Ninja, you must have known ppl would want to hang these things up!!! How about a slightly relocated hole in the handle LOL.

I have the non-premium set since December and they have been working out fantastic. I wasn’t aware there was a premium version but these are working fine. However I have never used any metal utensils while cooking. I love your channel and keep up the great work.

I have a set and yes the lids can really cause problems because you can't clean them well at all.

I bought the 10 piece set yesterday and started cooking right away and they’re amazing. I cooked up eggs sunny side up with no oil and they came out perfect and just slid out of the pan. Good stuff!

I bought a big ninja skillet at Walmart and I like it and everything however the other day I fried an egg on low heat because that’s the only way I personally will cook an egg is low and slow with a little oil and I forgot to turn the burner off and what little bit of oil was left in the pan basically burned and chard took a little doing I was able to clean the pan out and it still releases you can still use it I guess how ever my concern is is it safe to use? Stick a bounty towel or two in between your cookware and they won’t scratch up

To clean the little nasty space inside of the lid I simply use a stiff bristle artist’s paint brush (no.8 round) with a little dish soap. Works really well for me - I’m a germaphobe!

Our Caliphon has problem: water "sitting" in the space between glass & metal rim. We wash and put it in our convection oven facing into the moving air stream. I assume any oven would work, just prefer the convctions built in air movement. We set to 200 degrees for 8 minutes, oven size/heating etc varies, find out what works for YOU so that the water does not remain/ "sit" get GREEN . Would think that the handles would determine maxi heat for your particular set. The "left over" water does/can/will generate a green area/mold(?) in ours. It's disgusting YES! if not dired/evaporated immediately!! THAT sitting water/green did not look at all pleasant and wanted to return them after 1st seeing it but our FIX is this, it's an extra step but worthwhile in my humble opinion. Not sure if that is the problem "Joe" is talking about/having (time: 3:52-) but should work for any lids that trap water, solves it every time!
This was a Helpful/Realistic review and thanks for doing a follow up that's what matters to us/ over time surfaces condition!!

I just purchased the 12 inch frying pan, paid under $40

for it with coupons. I am not going to throw out my copper and stainless sauce pans, but all the other non stick crap is going to the recycle bin. This morning was the first absolutely perfect omelet that I have cooked in years. Last night was seared beef and shrimp fajitas. Every burnt scrap wiped away with a damp towel.

Just bought the Premium set from Sam's for around $250. A little pricey considering that we probably won't use all of the items but here's something I hadn't seen in reviews: They are HEAVY !!! Just like g'moms cast iron. If you're not happy with super heavy pans, then think again about buying these things. I fried eggs this morning and everything was fine but that Greenpan hanging over my stove just might not get pitched. It does an excellent job and it's probably half the weight.

Joe showed that the Ninja pan works well under normal cooking conditions and that is what matters .
Other tests I see are unrealistic . I don't need to see how a pan does for burning marshmallows ----I need to know whether my eggs will stick and my steak sear evenly .
I bought one of these and SFSG .
