It’s been a while that I haven’t uploaded any videos, because I always want to have a router that is not only good also cheap and also supports OpenWrt firmware.
AX6000 is too expensive for me, AC2100 does not support WiFi 6,
I have been waiting for so long,
until today I find a router that is not only good, also not expensive, that is AX3000T.
It costs only 30 40 dollars from online shopping,
It comes with a Mediatek processor,
Most importantly, it is supported by OpenWrt firmware!

Thanks for the tutorial, very easy to follow. Your English is excellent! Just a note, OpenSSH defaults to SFTP since v9.0, which the SSH server shipped in the stock firmware does not support. Use the `-O` flag with the `scp` command to force the SCP protocol.

When copying a file, open another terminal (or cmd) and copy, because running scp command from connected terminal(cmd) to router will not be possible. So you need to copy from new window.

Hy i recently got ax3000t issue facing is after connecting to network its light keep turning orange from blue. What could b issue, and also it's not pairing mihome app.

I did copy and later commands. Router restarted like yours and light is blue on router. I have connected internet cable to router and computer. Connection seems okay but I cannot connect to router ip address, and cannot ping it. What is the problem?

Hi! OpenWrt 23.05.4 version got support for Xiaomi AX3000T. Does it make the OpenWrt installation process easier? I decided that from the Xiaomi interface it is enough to select the ... -initramfs-factory.ubi file as a manual update. But .ubi is not supported. Please help me to figure it out. Thanks!

Hey John. I get an error can you help? When trying to install the image into a temporary file I get the following error: Unable to negotiate with 192.168.31.1 port 22: no matching host key type found. Their offer: ssh-rsa
scp: Connection closed

I've just bought the international version of the xiaomi ax3000t which doesn't have the dual wan option in the settings. Will it be possible and how to unlock this on the globa version? I've already tried to select anothers region near to china (it blocks you and don't show China for you to choose) and I got nothing :( Last month I've received through aliexpress the chinese version but it didn't work so I asked for refound and now I bought the global version :(

I guess It is impossible for now to downgrade to 1.0.47 (2 months later) because the router is delivered with 1.0.64 as default OS
