Fix Windows 11 Headphones sound problem,Fix Audio Issue On Windows 11
Step 1) Check the volume levels/Volume Mixer
Step 2) Select the right audio device in Sound Settings
Step 3) Disable headphone in recording tab in sound control panel
Step 4) Set Sound Sample rate to 48/44k Hz in sound control panel
Step 5) Disconnect controller and USB Dongles if connected
Step 6) Turn off Spatial Sound
Step 7) Disable Oculus/voicemeeter Audio Device under both recording and playback in sound control panel, do the same thing in device manager
Step 8) Uncheck Handsfree Telephony

Step 9) Run Audio Troubleshooter
Step 10) Roll Back Audio Drivers
Step 11) Reinstall audio driver from device manager- Try automatic and Browse option
Step 12) Check for disabled device, enable it and make it default.
Step 13) Restart Windows Audio Service
Step 14) Perform Cleanboot
Step 15) Uninstall the audio driver and restart your PC.
Step 16) Install Audio Driver from System manufacturer website
Step 18) Update Windows 11
Step 19) Perform System restore
Step 20) Reset PC- Backup your data before reset as reset may result in data loss
Step 21) Run hardware test for Audio

Thanks! Step 3 worked for me. (Details: Bluetooth headphones would get a distorted sound apparently out of nowhere. I disabled it in the recording tab while listening to the video, and after a few seconds the sound got good again.)

I have this exact problem with Windows 11. My volume level is pegged at 100%, all enhancements, all extra communication auto volume BS turned off, so many settings changed in attempted fixes so far. I Spent 2 hours on phone with Microsoft as well as an hour with MSI, my motherboard manufacturer trying to figure this out. Both said it was a problem with the other company and was absolutely zero help. Microsoft even reinstalled windows and it’s still effed up. The equalizer doesn’t even change anything in my headphones. I messed around with things in services and processes. I found that when I stop the Windows Audio Device Graph Isolation the audio boosts up to 100% like it’s back to normal then BAM Windows Audio Device Graph Isolation kicks back on and the audio magically drops back down to like 25-30% volume (without the volume slider moving)…. I literally don’t know what tf to do at this point, I’ve never in my life had something like this happen. THE REALLY WEIRD PART, when Inopen a song I have downloaded from iTunes and play it back in windows media player, Davinci resolve, any other player on earth the volume is stuck at like 25-30% when Inplay the exact same song in iTunes directly all of the volume in headphones and every other device works 100% perfectly at 100% volume. I have no idea Wtf is going on.

Step 3 worked for me as well. Thanks a lot brother. You solved an issue which I was facing for many years. The audio is still not perfect but it is around 99 percent better now. Just some occasional breaks here and there which might be due to internet issues. Anyways thanks a lot. It worked!

i bought a headphone but it sound muffle so i clicked into ur video and see if theres anything that could help me but now my settings are ruined and my old earbuds go muffle when i play games but does not muffle when i watch video and i have no fking clue what is going on, nah this settings kinda ruined my audio settings

Mine worked when I changed the balance under "Levels". For some reason, if my Left and Right headset are set to the same number, it will produce a muffled sound. I set my L to 50 and R to 100, and it fixed it.

This is quite helpful, the only problem is that any of these solutions will not help at all with the xbox wireless gaming headset. Its definitely helped with my other devices, heck the $20 music in ear monitors worked a hell of a lot better anyway.

You are way too fast. This is insane, I can't even try the sound before you have already gotten into the middle part of the other explanation...
It is tedious to pause the video every time with so many godamn tabs around to fix the sound.
