I don't know a lick of German whatsoever, but I thought it sounded super authentic, and then I was really really happy to see that German speakers here in the comments were all saying how he really sounded genuinely German <3333

This sounds unbelievable! I can understand every word, however it's sad that the quality of his voice deteriorates a bit too fast once he gets out of his range :/ but other than that, this was the best German Utau cover I've heard in a long time :D

The magic of music truly does exist. I started learning German in high school, along with French there, and was teaching myself ISL and Japanese at home. I had such a huge passion for learning languages, I wanted to be able to understand and learn more about all the cultures around me. It was super fun and enlightening! Unfortunately after graduating, a bunch of life got in the way and killed a lot of the passion I used to have for it. Work takes all my energy and inspiration away, and I don’t have anyone to practice with either.

But hearing this song... the beautiful enunciation and passion put into this, it really sparked something inside of me. It made me really want to jump back into learning German, so I can jam out, sing along, and understand the words and meaning behind it. I would love a full cover of this to play on repeat while studying. Thank you so much for this!!!
