Thank you for posting this it was great to hear I have two moments about Vin that I will never forget 1.I can remember the first time I heard Vin Scully's voice it was 3/31/98 and it was on TV but not in the way you might think it was in a video game didn't think much of it other than nice voice (his video game commentary was very basic until his last appearance in 05 it became a little more in-depth) and I said to myself I got to hear this guy more so I ordered the MLB extra innings package and from the first live broadcast I heard I was hooked and every year since I've ordered either MLB.tv or MLB extra innings his descriptive ability is one-of-a-kind (as a legally blind man I felt like I was in the seats at dodger Stadium) i've lost count of how many nights in the last 10 years or so I could put a Dodgers game on my computer turn the monitor off and still feel like I was watching every second of it here in Massachusetts he has made for a lot of late nights for me but I wouldn't have it any other way 2. I take you back to 3/22/14 The Dodgers were in Australia to take on the Arizona Diamondbacks to open the MLB regular-season The game was scheduled to start 4 AM Eastern time approximately three hours before first pitch my aunt passed away in her sleep needless to say I was awake most of that evening speaking with law enforcement officials etc. etc. it was about 3:45 AM Eastern the house was finally emptied of medical examiner law enforcement etc. I watched the dodger broadcast and for that three hours or so I was able to calm down for lack of a better term the level of comfort he gave me was immeasurable
